The district of Paschim Medinipur, located in the South-western part of West Bengal was created with the partition of erstwhile Midnapore District on 1st January 2002.The total geographical area of this district stands 6,308 square km at present. This historical district has large geographical diversity as well as rich socio-economic culture. This district is also the birthplace of many eminent and famous personalities of 'Mother India'.The people of the district has scattered here from far flung villages to cosmopolitan town, from deciduous forest region to the soil of fertile alluvial. So now we have made a modest effort to make a website of ours for the citizens admist with. We have tried to make our website as citizen friendly related with Land and Land Reforms related issues.In addition,we have also tried to make it exhaustive and interactive as possible.
